Want to Know a Few Important Tidbits about the NFL Playoff Schedule 2013?

The playoffs in the NFL are ALWAYS riveting, and the NFL Playoff Schedule 2013 is no exception!

As we march toward Super Bowl XLVII on Feb. 3 in New Orleans, the NFL playoff schedule 2013 continues through Sunday, Jan. 23. Some fans believe the divisional round playoffs are the best part of the whole season because the best 8 teams meet.
With the AFC wild-card rounds over, the Baltimore Ravens will be meeting Denver after defeating the Indianapolis Colts 24-9.  They are joined in the NFL playoff schedule 2013 by the Houston Texans following their defeat of the Cincinnati Bengals 19-13.  These two wild-card winners will advance to the AFC Divisional Round where the matchups will be:

Baltimore Ravens at Denver Broncos

-          Experts are predicting either a really close game or a blowout here.  Denver is believed to be the superior team, but Baltimore has a good playoff record and seldom loses by double digits.

Houston Texans at New England Patriots
Gillette Stadium, Foxborough, MA
-          Both teams have good players and if they are on their games, this will be a thriller.  If not, it could be a blow-out.

Winners of this Divisional Round will be on the NFL playoff schedule 2013 for the AFC Championship Game, scheduled for Sun. Jan. 20 with the site to be announced.

On the NFC wild-card rounds, we had the Green Bay Packers defeat the Minnesota Vikings 24-10 and the Seattle Seahawks ended the season for the Washington Redskins by a 24-14 score.  The NFC Divisional round looks like this:

-          The talent in this game is huge and most fans think that the winner of this game is going to the Super Bowl. This is a must-watch game.

Seattle Seahawks at Atlanta Falcons
Georgia Dome, Atlanta, GA
-          This promises to be exhilarating with the MVP candidate Matt Ryan for Atlanta going against the dominant Seattle defense.

The winners of these games will advance to the NFC Championship Game to be played on Sun. Jan. 20, with the location to be determined.
