With the exception of sports and grocery shopping, the Victorias Secret Fashion Show 2012 is one of the few events that both men and women can enjoy together.

The women love the lingerie that the models are wearing, and the men love the models that are wearing the lingerie.  A perfect show – something for everyone!
This year’s show did not disappoint.  Some of the world’s top lingerie models walked the runway for the TV special that was taped in New York on Nov. 8.  The “Angels”, as the Victorias Secret models are known included Doutzen Kroes, Adriana Lima, Joan Smalls, Candice Swanepoel, Lily Aldrige, Erin Heatherton and others.

The models had their signature props – there were several pairs of the oversized wings. It would be a close contest for the biggest wings. Toni Garrn had a giant poppy pair and Miranda Kerr had a swan-style feathered pouf.  But Lily Aldridge sported star-spangled wings that shot silver sparkles.
Some highlights from the show:
Singer Rihanna was a special guest who also walked the catwalk as a lingerie model.  All the reviews said she looked fabulous and rocked the lingerie world.

The Victorias Secret Fashion Show 2012 was the latest in what is now a pre-holiday season tradition.

Music for the show was provided by Bruno Mars who sang “Locked Out of Heaven” and “Young Girls,” and Justin Bieber performed “Beauty and the Beast” and “As Long as You Love Me”.
“It’s like a dream come true,” Bieber said before the show. “I would rather be here than anywhere in the world.”  Hmm, guess so …. He is an 18 year old male surrounded by beautiful lingerie models!  Where else would he want to be?
The highlight of the show was when Alessandra Ambrosio modeled the $2.5 million “Fantasy Bra” created by London Jewelers. The bra is crafted from amethysts, rubies, sapphires and diamonds, with a 20-carat white diamond in the center.
As a tribute to the victims of the Sandy super storm, it was announced the Victorias Secretand CBS (who aired the TV show) had both donated to the relief efforts. The announcement also thanked the National Guard members based out of the Lexington Avenue Armory in Manhattan, where the annual show is taped.
The Victorias Secret fashion show 2012 helped provide electricity to the New York Army National Guard whose headquarters had lost power in Super storm Sandy as the show’s producers had brought eight generators just to power the gigantic production.
When the New York Army National Guard’s 69th Infantry Regiment’s headquarters needed power, officials appealed to Victorias Secret producers for help and by 7 p.m. that night the armory had power again.

God bless you!
